TIE A KNOT & HANG ON

A few years ago, I came across a young girl, Becca Salmins, who was battling cancer. Her family posted her struggles, but also her optimism. She and her father, Gerhard, were making bracelets to sell on Kickstarter to help pay for her treatments. I bought some for my sister and I because they were cute. And with the package came this sticker. This was the phrase she used to get herself through the grueling treatments.

I thought it was a beautiful reminder that when things get really tough and you feel like you’re at the end of your rope, you tie a knot and hang on. That thought has gotten me through a few moments of sadness and doubt.

Such wise words for a young girl. Hopefully, they’ll help you in a moment of darkness too.

I sure hope she beat her cancer. She has a big life ahead of her. ❤️
